I'm early career (under 5 years). I know the coding standards, the patterns, the clean code rules, and I have a sense of judgement, but only up to a point: I'm essentially as good as the model I'm given. If the codebase gives me a good pattern, I write good code. And now the same thing is happening with my coding agent, it produces work at roughly my level, so my ceiling is its ceiling. Part of me thinks the answer is to stop using AI, or at least step back from it, but the dependence is strong enough now that I can't really turn my back on it. How do I take it to the next level and get good
