I'm currently an Android Developer and I enjoy optimizing performance and low level code in general. I'm thinking of slowly shifting to something like Systems Engineering and learning Rust for example to be more "AI Safe" in general. What do you think about the future of this and do you recommend it or better focus more on Android/Mobile?

It’s great that you like low level details and optimization, and I encourage you to go into systems engineering, just don’t do it out of fear of AI, embrace it rather than run away from it, if Linus Travolds is using it and not against its use in Linux Kernel, there are no places to hide
